PACT
PACT stands for Pre-Apprenticeship Certificate Training. This certificate is backed by the Home Builders Institute. Participants need to complete 4 prerequisite chapters (safety, employability, tools & materials and construction math) and 1 trade specific elective in order to obtain a PACT certificate. The trade specific elective includes but is not limited to carpentry, green build, electrical, HAV, plumbing, masonry, landscaping and painting. This is a nationally recognized credential by trade unions and private companies. Upon successful completion of this class, participants will earn a certificate issued by HBI/PACT.
